Clicking Got It dismisses the notice bar in that visitor's browser. How long it stays hidden depends on Show Only Once Per Session and Suppress Notice (days). The action does not record consent in HubSpot or change the page URL. It is a dismissal, not proof that the visitor accepted a privacy or cookie policy.

Set your HubSpot Brand Kit colors before you configure the theme. Primary Color maps to the theme's Primary color, Secondary Color maps to Secondary, and First Accent Color maps to Tertiary. Brand Kit accents do not automatically set your link states. Set Link Color, Link Hover Color, and Link Visited Color directly under Theme Settings → Colors.

Publish theme saves your Theme Settings changes so they apply to pages and templates using that theme. You reach the full theme editor from content that uses the theme, then publish after adjusting shared options such as colors, fonts, and buttons. This is different from Publish changes in Design Manager, which publishes edits to an individual template, module, or coded file. HubSpot may present a newer editor with different labels, so use its current theme settings instructions if your screen does not match.

Usually, no. HubSpot's free tools may not provide the settings needed to assign templates for system pages such as error, search, subscription, or membership pages. Your theme can still include those templates, so you can return to this step if your HubSpot subscription later gives you access to the relevant system-page settings. Because HubSpot packaging can change, check your current account options before assuming a specific system page is available.

Theme Settings are the standard Sprocket Rocket / theme global styles: primary colors, link colors, typography, border radius, featured image, and similar controls under Themes & Modules.

SW Theme Settings appear at the bottom of Theme Settings when Smithworks Theme Elements are installed. They add extras such as link colors for dark backgrounds, link text decorations, and button focus border options. Configure Theme Settings first, then scroll down for SW Theme Settings if that group is present.

On Smithworks themes, SW Footer Simple typically pulls the copyright company name from HubSpot’s marketing email footer, not from Account defaults → Company information.

Set it under Settings → Marketing → Email → Configuration → Footer addresses (create or edit an email footer with company name and address). The same footer data also feeds SW SEO Schema organization details when that partial is enabled.

Start creating a website or landing page, open the theme selection screen, and choose Set as active theme on the theme you want. For website pages, you can also use the Theme menu while choosing a template, select Change theme, and set the preferred theme as active. Its templates will then appear as the default options for newly created pages. This does not switch existing pages to the new theme; those pages keep their current templates until you change them.

SW Hero is the current Smithworks banner hero for website and landing pages. It includes headings, body copy, buttons, and the standard outer/inner Module Settings and Background pattern (spacing, widths, optional outer border, and inner background including image or video).

When a button or link uses HubSpot’s email or phone link type, SW Hero and SW Footer Simple automatically prefix mailto: or tel: so the link opens the mail or phone app instead of a broken relative URL.

Check the favicon assigned in your HubSpot Brand Kit, including any favicon set for the page's domain. Make sure the selected file is the image you expect, then publish the change if HubSpot prompts you to do so. Hard-refresh the page or open it in a private browser window to bypass a cached icon. If the old favicon remains, confirm that you edited the Brand Kit connected to the correct domain.
