SW Footer Simple uses the module’s company-name override first. When that field is blank, it uses the company name from HubSpot’s email footer information. Check these items in order:
Confirm that you are editing the global footer used by the live page.
Open Content → Copyright Information and check Company Name.
If Company Name is blank, go to Settings → Marketing → Email → Configuration → Footer addresses and correct the company name there.
Publish the global footer to the pages that use it.
SW Footer Simple 02 is a two-row global footer with an upper area for brand or supporting content and a lower strip for items such as legal links or social links. Choose it when those two content groups need clear visual separation. Use SW Footer Simple when one streamlined footer band is enough. You can review both modules in the SW module documentation before choosing a footer for the theme.
Smithworks Organization structured data uses these HubSpot business details:
Business name and postal address: the company information in HubSpot’s email footer settings.
Website URL: the company domain associated with the brand configuration.
Logo: the primary logo in the Brand Kit.
Keep the official name, URL, address, and logo consistent. After publishing, validate the Organization structured data on the live page and correct missing or conflicting values in the related HubSpot settings.
Start with the published page and test its URL in Google’s Rich Results Test. Check that the organization name, website URL, address, and logo match the information you want Google to understand. In the current Smithworks theme, the website URL comes from the default Brand Kit logo’s Logo URL, while the organization name and address come from your marketing email footer address. Use a complete website URL, a complete address, and a logo file that Google can access. These settings can help Google understand your organization, but they do not guarantee which URL, logo, or address Google will show; see Google’s Organization structured data guidance.
The Smithworks version report summarizes the Smithworks modules and related website features installed on your HubSpot website. It shows what appears current, what may have an update available, and what needs review. The statuses are signals for a conversation with Smithworks, not instructions to change files yourself. Open the report from the Smithworks client portal and ask about any item that needs attention.
Needs upgrade means a newer Smithworks-supported version may be available for that item on your website. It does not mean you should update it immediately or that the current page is broken. Contact Smithworks to review what would change, whether the update affects existing page content, and the best time to schedule it.
Fields differ means the module’s editor options do not match the current Smithworks-supported version. That difference can be intentional, specific to your website, or a sign that an update needs extra care. Smithworks should review how existing page content uses those options before any change is approved. Do not replace or reconfigure the module based on this status alone.
