Why do the social icons in my Smithworks footer look blank or use the wrong color?

Check the affected social link in this order:

Confirm that the correct preset or custom icon is selected.
Review Override Colors. When it is off, the icon uses Style → Content Colors → Link Colors.
Make sure the icon and hover colors have enough contrast with the footer background.
Publish the global footer and clear the browser cache before reopening the live page.

If the icon is still blank or the color is still wrong, contact support with the page URL and the name of the footer module.
