Open SW Pillar Section → Style → Module background. Choose Gradient for a blended background or Divider for the built-in diagonal split. Use Max Module Outer Width to control how wide that background band can extend, then use Max Module Width to keep the two-column content narrower when needed. This lets the background feel expansive without making the content difficult to read.
Both are stacked modules, but SW Text and Media is the preferred choice for new sections. It supports optional headings, foreground image or video, no-media mode, rich text, and optional buttons.
When Media mode is Video, use Show video controls for HubSpot Video or Video from files. External embeds such as YouTube or Vimeo use the provider’s own player controls.
Autoplay or mute: In Foreground video, check Autoplay and Muted. Those settings request the behavior you want, but the visitor’s browser or the video provider can still restrict autoplay.
Video size: Set both width and height in the external embed. Those dimensions control the video’s size on the page.
Test the published page on desktop and mobile. If the behavior remains inconsistent, review the SW Module Documentation or contact support with the page URL and video provider.
Use SW Image & Text when an existing page already uses it or when you need a simple older stacked block with image above rich text. For new stacked sections, prefer SW Text and Media.
Use SW Gallery Section when you need multiple images or videos in a gallery beside written content. Use SW Pillar Section when you only need one image or one video beside text.
Use SW Magic Accordion when you need tabs or accordion content with optional images per item, forms, and buttons. Use SW Pillar Accordion when you need one shared image column that changes with each panel.
