- Equal: The current Smithworks theme shares the footer row evenly on XL and Desktop, then stacks the columns from Tablet down.
- Custom: You choose full-width stacking or individual percentages for XL, Desktop, and Tablet. Set each breakpoint separately because the percentages do not copy from one breakpoint to another.
Mobile always stacks, and a column set to 0% is hidden rather than included in the visible total. Use Equal for a predictable footer and Custom when the content needs uneven columns, a deliberate gap, or breakpoint-specific visibility.
