What is the difference between Ripple and Wave 1–5 on SW Hero?
Ripple (and Roll) is the motion engine. Wave 1–5 are the ribbon drawings. You can run Ripple or Roll on any of those five artworks. Theme or Custom color recolors the lines; fade comes from each line’s opacity in the file.
Does SW Hero Animated play on phones?
Phones, coarse pointers, and reduced-motion settings show a still version of the same artwork (with your rotate and scale). Desktop can play the motion. Outer Aurora Overlay is hidden while Animated is selected.
Can SW Pillar Section use glass, grain, or pattern backgrounds?
Yes. After 2026.08.19.18.03, SW Pillar Section supports the same advanced Style options as SW Hero and SW Cards. Module Inner can use Effect (Glass, Grain, or Pattern). Each content column, the form box (when Secondary Column = Form), and the media column can also use Effect with an optional frosted rim (default 25px).
Open Style → the relevant column or form group → set the background option to Effect, then choose Glass, Grain, or Pattern.
How do I add Animated motion or Aurora to SW Pillar Section Module Outer?
Style → Module background → Module Outer Background Options. Choose Animated for Roll or Ripple motion (outer band only), or enable Outer Aurora Overlay when Outer is not Animated. Module Inner has a separate optional Inner Aurora Overlay.
From 2026.08.24.10.17, Aurora actually paints on the page (the Style options used to exist without showing). Aurora does not show when Outer is Animated, None, or Divider. Custom Aurora artwork is supported. Animated requires the theme animated pack. Hard-refresh after your developer ships the update.
Why does Content Colors not change my SW Pillar Section paragraph text?
After 2026.08.19.18.03, Content Colors → Text Color applies to headings (when Auto), bullets, links, and Content Area paragraphs. If a paragraph still looks dark, check for inline color on that text in the rich-text editor, or confirm Text Color is not set to Auto while expecting white copy.
Republish after your theme receives the update if cached CSS still overrides paragraph color.
What is SW Pillar Slides for?
SW Pillar Slides (shipped 2026.08.20.15.01) is for topic slides: tabs, pills, or buttons above an image filmstrip with optional peek of the next slide, plus a content column. Use it for industry or capability switchers. For a single static image beside copy, use SW Pillar Section. For accordion panels with a swapping image, use SW Pillar Accordion.
What image size should I use for SW Pillar Slides?
Prefer a 3:2 ratio so peeks match. A good default is 900×600; use 1200×800 for sharper retina or a wider image column. Upload one primary image—the module serves smaller CDN sizes automatically. Set meaningful alt text on each slide image.
How do I show a peek of the next slide in SW Pillar Slides?
Use a side-by-side layout, then Style → Slide settings → Image → turn on Enable peek. Adjust gap, opacity, and fade there. Optional Peek first image on last slide shows slide 1 in the peek on the last slide; clicking still returns to the start (not a continuous loop). Stacked layout does not show peek.
Why did my SW Cards footer buttons disappear after a theme update?
In 2026.08.20.20.37, SW Cards removed the old Footer Add Button 1 / Add Button 2 fields. Footer CTAs now use only the Buttons repeater under Footer Buttons.
If a page relied only on those legacy two-button fields, the footer will show no buttons until you reopen the module, add Buttons rows (text + link), and republish the page.
Pages that already used the Buttons repeater are unchanged.
Where did Add Button 1 and Add Button 2 go on SW Cards?
They were removed in 2026.08.20.20.37. Use the Buttons repeater inside Footer Buttons instead—add a row for each footer CTA.
There is no automatic migration from the old flat button fields into the repeater. Re-enter button text and links if an older page still depended on Add Button 1/2.
