# SW HubSpot Checklist — AI Agent Reference

## Instructions for the AI Agent

- You do **not** have HubSpot access unless explicitly given. Answer only from this document (and other docs supplied by the user).
- This module is **Smithworks marketing site only**. Do **not** recommend installing it on client themes or rolling it from master.
- Wizard logic lives in theme files: `js/sw-hubspot-checklist.js`, `js/sw-hubspot-checklist.css`, `js/sw-hubspot-checklist.data.json` (required by the module).
- Progress is stored in the visitor’s **browser localStorage** (portal ID + track + checked items). Clearing storage or choosing Reset clears that device’s progress.

## 1. Purpose and When to Use

**SW HubSpot Checklist** is an **interactive theme-setup wizard**: visitor enters a HubSpot **portal ID**, chooses **Sprocket Rocket** or **Smithworks full** track, then works through phased checkboxes with deep links into HubSpot (Brand Kit, Theme Settings, etc.) and **Browse SW Module FAQs**.

**Use when:**

- Guiding someone through first-time Sprocket Rocket / Smithworks theme configuration on a portal they control
- You need persistent checkboxes and resume-on-reload without a server database

**Do not use when:**

- You need a client-portal SW master module (this is custom-only)
- You need a static printable PDF of the checklist alone (link out to the live page or First-Time Setup docs instead)

## 2. Content tab (summary)

- **Page title** — rendered as the page `<h1>` above the wizard
- **SW documentation URL** / **Sprocket Rocket docs URL** — optional link defaults used by the wizard chrome
- **Module Background Video** — when Style → Module Inner Background Options = Video

## 3. Style tab (summary)

Uses the **outer / inner** standard (same model as **SW CTA Simple Bar**):

- **Module Settings:** Module Outer Spacing, Max Module Outer Width, Module Inner Spacing, Max Module Inner Width, optional height / vertical align groups
- **Module background:** Module Outer Background Options (+ outer borders), then Module Inner Background Options (default custom light gray `#f1f1f1`) + inner borders
- Form fields in the wizard use theme **`.form-control`** / **`.btn`** (Theme Settings → Forms)

**Legacy note:** Do not configure this module with the old Simple Hero single-layer Spacing/Background model unless explicitly approved as a legacy exception.

## 4. Wizard behavior (product)

- **Tracks:** Sprocket Rocket only vs Smithworks full (phases/items filtered from `sw-hubspot-checklist.data.json`)
- **First phase:** Confirm & activate theme (`confirm-theme-ready`) — not a fake “Publish theme in Design Manager” step
- **Phase links:** When all items in a phase share a destination, one HubSpot link at the phase level; per-item links only when destinations differ
- **Every phase:** Browse SW Module FAQs → https://smithworks.marketing/faqs/sw-modules (new tab)
- **Resume:** Remembers last portal/track and restores checked items on reload
- **View full checklist:** Stays expanded when toggling checkboxes inside it
- **Reset progress:** Action sheet — clear this portal’s progress vs change portal/track (top “Change portal / track” link also available)
